Day #4035 (Fri., Jan. 22, 2021) – Two-Person Slumber Party
Bobby promised to do his math homework this morning, and instead, my wife caught him playing on his school computer. His punishment was that he didn’t get to play on the computer for the day. My wife did give it to him for a bit of playtime in the evening.
The kids have a new Lego set (see photo to the right). Bobby spent a lot of time working on it this afternoon as he was not able to play computer games.
This evening Bobby slept in Katie’s room. Bobby loves to sleep there from time-to-time, but Katie is growing out of this “two-person slumber party” idea.
I’m already starting to notice that it’s harder to find a movie that both kids will enjoy. Bobby still enjoys cartoons and YouTube videos with lots of action. Katie has transitioned into the phase where she enjoys romance. It’s hard to mesh these two ideas together, at least in a format that Bobby would enjoy sitting through…
