Day #4760 (Tue., Jan. 17, 2023) – Picking Up Katie
Bobby is home sick again today. He started to feel sick last night. Katie went to school though. My wife was not feeling well for most of the day and spent most of the day in bed. I went to pick Katie up at school so that she could sleep (see photo to the right).
When Katie got home I made both kids some nachos. Very simple nachos mind you, just some tortilla chips, with shredded cheese on top, and thrown into the microwave for 30 seconds. I made some for my wife and she loved them as well.
We sure have one fussy dog in regards to treats. These turkey and chicken bars are the ones that she currently likes the most. I picked these up at Aldi this evening while I was picking up milk and other groceries. If Ginger is around she will pretty well eat almost anything I give her. If Ginger is not around she will turn her nose up at almost every treat except these.
The trip to Victoria is gelling more and more. We will be there for about 10 days, from March 31, 2023 to April 9, 2023. We will be flying into Victoria, and spend the night in a hotel there. We will pick a car up the next day and drive up to Comox and back with a slight detour to Sooke. We will spend approximately a day at each location up the coast and a day at each location on the way back. That should give us a pretty good tour of the island.
