Katie was complaining of a sore throat this morning but my wife said she would drive her to school and if she still felt sick, call her and she would come get her.
Bobby had ham and cheese sandwich for lunch today. He told me that he showed Anum, the Indian girl who used to sit at his table, his Pokemon binder (see photo to the left). He also showed Ethan the binder while he was waiting in line for me to pick him up. I used to have a bunch of little Pokemon figures when I was teaching English to Chinese kids, but I’m not sure where they are now… I’m sure that Bobby would love them if I can find them.
We learned that my wife’s brother has Lyme Disease today… Those nasty ticks are at it again!
Bobby and I finished the Alex Honnold show “Free Solo” this afternoon. He munched on the last yogurt cup that I picked up from Trader Joe’s the other day. He also had a couple of TJ’s drinkable yogurts.
Katie told me that there is a lady from the district sitting in the back of her social studies class to “help support the teacher”. Yeah, right… We’ll see how this turns out… I guess Gio and “the gang” were still up to their antics today…
Bobby has been asking for a quill and ink, but my wife put the “kabosh” on that… Can you imagine the mess? She did buy him a quill pen from Amazon though…
There’s always a mad rush on Thursday to get Bobby’s math homework done as it is due on Friday. My wife sent an email to his teacher, Ms. Nie, and she agreed to have it due on Monday. That will give him the weekend to work on it.
