My wife drove Bobby to school this morning, then Katie to school. This is the first time that we have had only one “car” in our household for a long time! The only other time I can think of is the brief periods where my white Camry was “rear ended” and when we were shopping for the van. Each case, a matter of weeks.
I went to Planet Fitness this morning to cancel my membership. If you don’t do it in person you need to send a certified letter to the company…a hassle. Went to Panera Bread for a coffee after that.

I sent my wife $2500 from my Etrade account to put on her credit card. Another $2500 will come tomorrow, and another $5000 in a few days. Thanks NVDA!
I picked up Bobby at the bus stop this afternoon (se photo to the left). This is the last time he will be riding the Chapel Hill bus system! He told me that his class gave him 42 “good bye” cards. We then swung around and picked up Katie. She told me that her teacher gave her a book that she will not be able to finish reading now that she is leaving.
I phoned up and closed our Simplisafe account this afternoon. My wife swang by her office this afternoon to print out some customs documents but could not hook up to the printer, so she ordered a printout from Staples. I swang by Staples in the van and picked it up just before 5pm.
Arnesa came by this afternoon to pick up some food and other supplies that she can use as we are leaving tomorrow. Her kids enjoyed throwing the tennis ball to Maple and Ginger in the front yard. Dzenen came by later for another load of “stuff” and said goodbye as well. They said that they are thinking of coming and visiting us in a couple of years.
This evening Katie had an orchestra performance at Phillips, which will be her last. I stayed home to put Bobby to bed.
