In Courtenay nothing too exciting except I killed a rat in the entrance to where the chickens are!
Today my wife and kids took an Uber boat ride to the center of London (see photo to the right). It might have taken an hour or more. Lina, Katie, and my wife disembarked by Westminster Abbey while Thomas stayed with Sophia and Bobby for the full route which took them home. Alas, at some point the boat broke and they had to wait for another one, so they got back 3 hours later than they had planned.
Meanwhile, my wife, Katie, and Lina took a walk through Westminster Abbey. They also enjoyed designer store window shopping on Bond Street. They also went to Buckingham Palace and took a subway to the Victoria & Albert Museum (and stopped before lunch before entering it). Along the way they got to sample London weather – it changed from rain to sun to rain to sun!
Later in the day my wife was off to visit her friend Virginia in Greenwich whom she hasn’t seen for 20+ years! Her daughter Emilija (who studied in Halifax University last fall) came to meet her at the train stop and they spent a wonderful night catching up. They took my wife home at 11 pm.
