My wife took the day off work today as she had an optometrist appointment, so she took Katie to school. Bobby felt well enough to drive his eBike to school, but after getting his pictures taken, a game or two of “Four Square”, he came home. He’s been having naps as of late and it will take a while before the antibiotics kick in and he gets his energy back.
Katie is making some “Construction Thingies” for a page under construction for the CVEMUN website (see photo to the right).
My wife’s optometrist meeting went well, but they wanted to sell her expensive designer frames so she took the prescription and went home. They wanted $1000 for two pairs of glasses! Costco frames are good enough for this household.
After the optometrist meeting my wife went to an aqua fit class so I picked Katie up at Vanier. Today was the first day I picked her up where my wife usually picks her up. The “Gangs of Boys” with loud stereos got too much for dear old dad at the old location.
Today was “Club Day” at Vanier and the Model UN booth managed to get two sheets of names of students who signed up as interested.
Katie did her math homework in Mr. Randall’s “Independent Study Class” today.
Mr. Randall gave Katie a grade 8 socials test and she did terrible. Having said that she did better than Zoey and another girl who is joining MUN. Katie thought that Berlin was the capital of Spain. She also thought that Trudeau was our current PM.
I downloaded Minecraft on my desktop PC this afternoon and signed up. I played a little bit. It told me to go and cut down a tree, so I did. While there a spider attacked me and killed me! Guess I need to get more expertise!
