Both my wife and I took Katie to see Amy this afternoon. There was a lot a talk about meds, and how they affect you, and which are right for what condition. Katie also brought up the issues that she was having with Zoey and the Model UN website. Towards the end of the hour long meeting we talked about Madeline and how Katie’s job is not to be her “service human” or therapist.
Bobby has an online game he absolutely loves playing called Rocket League. It’s basically soccer, except instead of people running around the field kicking the ball, you drive these crazy rocket-powered cars around an arena, smashing a giant soccer ball toward the other team’s goal. The cars can jump, flip and even fly through the air using rocket boosts, so it ends up being this wonderfully ridiculous combination of soccer, racing and controlled chaos. It’s been around for quite a few years, but somehow I’d never really paid much attention to what it was called. Now I know — Rocket League. 🚗⚽
