I took Katie to Spence’s farm this morning. She asked me if I wanted to see the mice so she ushered me into a room in the house where they have lots of mice in cages. One of the counselors gave a mouse to Katie to hold (see photo to the right). A couple of kids were playing with a snake on the floor so she told Katie to hold tight as the snake would eat it.
My wife took the Bosnian girls to Spence’s Farm to see the animals this afternoon. The oldest girl is afraid of animals. On the way home Katie managed to invite herself over to dinner so my wife and kids did not get home til around 8 pm.
I had to stop off at home to pick up a hard drive at noon today. I saw Bobby running towards the car and explained to him that I was in a hurry and could not give him a ride. He seemed to understand and let the new nanny, Laura, take him inside to play.
Katie got to ride a horse through the woods at Spence’s Farm today. They had to go in two groups as they did not have enough horses.
