Day #2820 (Mon., Sep. 25, 2017) – Toy Drill Bolts & Nuts

Katie told me that she had a hamburger today for lunch at school. Who would want to brown bag a lunch with choices like this? It’s either a hamburger, cheeseburger, pizza or stuff she loves. Correction on that. They also have tacos, but Katie doesn’t like those.

2017-09-25 - Bobby's DrillsKatie told me that Calissa was singing in her face up close today and it made her fall. Not sure what that is all about, but my wife told me that she is not a bully, so it was probably just her joking around. Calissa is apparently a very intense soccer player. She plays to win. From what I can tell Katie is only interested in the “fun” part of the game. This might change as she gets older, but we will see.

At preschool today my wife told me that Mary was very frustrated. All of the kids in the turtle class were crying and there were not enough teachers to comfort them. I guess one kid started crying and then it kind of snowballed. Even Bobby was upset, probably because of the atmosphere of all the crying kids.

This evening I screwed the casings and bolts from Bobby’s toy tool set into a cardboard box (see photo to the right) so that he could drive them in place with his toy drill. It didn’t go over very well. I think he’s just too young to get the concept of this. In fact, he tried to disassemble the box.
