Day #2970 (Thu., Feb. 22, 2018) – Bobby Sends Me An Emoji
The photo to the right shows the construction paper cutouts that Bobby and I made the other day.
My wife went to work this morning and dropped Katie off at school on her way. I tended to Bobby til Lizzy came. As soon as Bobby saw Lizzy he hid his face in the high chair and started to cry. I was wondering what was up…he looked so sad that I thought I might have to stay home from work today. Lizzy told me that she thinks he gets that way when he sees her because he realizes that my wife and I are going to be going away.
I finished the video for Katie’s 8th birthday today. It included clips from when we left our house, to the Piedmont Wildlife Center, to back to our house for pizza. I put a photo of Katie with the Bosnian girls as the icon for the video. I showed it to Katie when I got home from work but she was too interested in playing with the computer. When she is playing with the computer it seems that nothing else matters.
I went to Trader Joe’s for Instant Pot soup supplies on the way home from work. Katie wanted cupcakes but I had already left TJ’s by the time I received the IM.
Bobby wanted me to play with the train set this evening so he pulled the table all the way to my LazyBoy. When we play it usually ends up with cars and trucks and trains crashing about.
He was also playing with my wife’s phone and managed to send me a traffic light emoji.
