I was reading about the raccoon problem that we were having last year at this time. My how time flies. My wife was able to solve the problem by bringing the cat food into the living room each night. They cannot smell the food and stopped coming inside as a result.
We got this email from Miss Stanford this morning:

This morning it was brought to my attention that Katie was using email during work time. I didn’t even know students knew how to access email, so I was pretty alarmed my self. Nothing inappropriate was shared over email, just normal girl chat, but nevertheless, it’s not appropriate to use school email for that kind of thing. We had a restorative circle where we talked about the proper use of email and what we will do in the future. She will have 10 minutes independent play today as a consequence.

My wife went to see Arnesa’s new house today (see photo to the left). She told me that it reminds her of our old house in Cary.
I learned that Katie had hot dogs today for lunch. I guess they serve hot dogs on Thursdays. Yesterday, Wednesday, they had tortilla chips. Katie told me that she only likes ketchup on her hot dogs. This is the only way that daddy would eat them when I was her age.
My wife tells me that Bobby has been “working” on figuring out how to work the new locking door knobs that we have put in place. He is so inquisitive and persistent that he will probably figure it out. We just have to try to delay the inevitable as long as possible. I told Katie to never unlock the door with him around.
