I’m very tired this morning for some reason, so I went to the library to work while everyone else went to the aquarium again. The library has a great deal where you can go on their computers for $2 a week. That includes 3 hours a day…
Today is our last full day on the beach. Bobby wanted to go back to the aquarium this morning as he didn’t get to see much of it on Tuesday due to being sick. Katie had the choice of either going to the aquarium or staying home and cleaning up the house in preparation for leaving tomorrow. Of course, she chose the former.
Baby Ayra is getting fussier and fussier as the week goes on. Unlike Katie, she is a very light sleeper, and every little noise wakes her up. I guess her room at home is quite soundproof, so all the noises in the cottage are quite a challenge for her.
While Bobby and my wife slept this afternoon I decided that I would take Katie out for Daddy/Daughter Day #82. We drove out to the Krispy Kreme factory outside of Wilmington so she could see the donuts getting made. Unfortunately, the red light was not on, so we didn’t get to see the donuts being made, but we did each have a donut and some chocolate milk (see photo to the right). On the way back to the cottage I stopped off and ate at “Something Fishy”. Katie was not hungry.
Tonight was the last time to enjoy the beach. Katie really enjoys swimming this year and Bobby enjoys playing in the sand.
After the beach, my wife and I bundled up Katie and Bobby and off to the Krispy Kreme factory we went. This time the light was on, and we did get to see the donuts being made. We took a dozen donuts to go. Only four survived the trip home. One for Dzenen, one for Arnesa, one for baby Ayra, and one for tomorrow.
