There were no viola/violin lessons today as it is technically still “Spring Bread”. There were however “Ice Skating Group” lessons. Both kids did great. Bobby is getting really fast. After today there is only one lesson left.
We stopped off at Chick-Fil-A after skating class. Both kids got a kid’s meal. They forgot the straw. Chick-Fil-A never used to screw up our orders…maybe they are getting overflow employees from McDonald’s and Burger King due to lack of workers… 🙂
Bobby is making the Titanic in Roblox (see photo to the left). It is rather elaborate and even has the name “Titanic” on the side of the ship.
The semi-final basketball game between Duke and UNC was on television this evening. Katie stayed up with my wife and I to watch it. UNC prevailed.
I made a chocolate chip cookie in the air fryer this evening. It was “so-so”…turned out more like a cake cookie… Here’s the recipe.
Recipe: “Air Fryer – 1 Cookie”
URL: https://airfried.com/air-fryer-cookie-for-one/
Ingredients
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 large egg yolk
½ teaspoon vanilla
⅓ cup + 1 tablespoon flour
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
⅛ teaspoon salt
¼ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1) Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees.
2) Add the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar to a mixing bowl and stir with a spoon to combine.
3) Add the egg yolk and vanilla and stir well.
4) Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt to form a dough.
5) Stir in the chocolate chips.
6) Shape the dough into a large ball and flatten lightly to form a ball of cookie dough that is about 4 inches in diameter.
7) Carefully place a piece of parchment paper down in the preheated air fryer basket and place the cookie dough in the center. The dough will spread a bit, so be sure that the parchment is large enough to allow space for spreading.
8) Air fry for 5 minutes.
9) Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
