Day #4524 (Thu., May. 26, 2022) – Math Test

Bobby is feeling a bit better this morning, but his cough is still bad, so we’re going to keep him home from school again today.  He should be “good to go” tomorrow.  We both dropped Katie off at school at Phillips this morning.  You can see all the construction happening on Estes Road in the photo to the left.

After dropping Katie off we went to Trader Joe’s for supplies.  We got milk, of course, but also a watermelon and other supplies.  I let Bobby pick out one item, and he chose a tub of chocolate chip cookies.  Katie and him both enjoyed munching on them this afternoon.

The big thing on Katie’s plate today was her math test at school.  She needed to take her computer and charger with her.  She said she did fine.  They need to take it now, so that it can get graded and the places for those kids who need to take summer school established.

Katie had singing classes this afternoon.  She could not find her lyrics so I printed them out again for her.

This evening we had a Face time with mom.  Bobby told her the joke that we learned in the car.  “A cowboy rode into a town on Friday.  He stayed there two days.  He left on Friday. How is that possible?”  Answer:  His horse’s name was Friday.  He also told her her daddy’s favorite mountain…  Mount Ever-rest!

This evening I made the kids some anabolic Oreo ice cream.
