Day #4568 (Sat., July 9, 2022) – Race To Witch Mountain
The photo to the right shows the squirt guns we picked up at the Dollar Store (sorry Dollar Plus) yesterday. Cost us close to $20… The end of an era. It was nice to be able to go to the Dollar Store and just pick up item after item and knowing that they only cost $1 each.
My wife took the kids to viola/violin class this morning. She had to take the van as the Camry is totally out of commission. It would not turn over, and now the battery is dead, so I will need to get AAA to tow it to Lloyd’s Tire on Monday.
This afternoon the whole family went for a dip in the backyard pool. The routine is Clark Pool during the week and the backyard pool during the weekends. It’s just too busy at the Clark Pool during the weekend.
This afternoon we decided to have a family movie day. I suggested “Race To Witch Mountain” with the Rock. It was an okay movie, but since there was not enough action it was hard for Bobby to keep focused on it… He seemed to enjoy tormenting his sister on the couch more. For the meal while we watched we made some “air fryer” meatballs and “Hamburger Helper” beef lasagna. The kids loved the former, but were not too keen on the latter.
