Day #5551 – (Tue., Mar. 18, 2025) – Sleeping On Katie!
Batman slept on Katie’s back last night (see photo to the left). Perhaps not all night, but certainly some of it. He sure is cuddly and agreeable since the operation. It’s even hard for Katie to get any work done on the computer as Batman is all over her.
We got a note from the accountant that we owe about $20,000 in taxes this year. Since Canada has a higher tax rate we expected to pay more tax, but perhaps not that much…
I will need to sleep in Katie’s room with Batman next week when my wife takes the kids to Vancouver. The problem is, Katie’s bed is now low to the ground. We can’t raise it as Batman is not allowed to jump on anything till the surgery scars heal. We ordered an assisting device to help me get off of the bed with my two bad knees. Since it’s from Amazon we can always return it if it doesn’t work…
Bobby spent a lot of time playing online today.
We’re thinking of getting an automatic gate for our front driveway. I might find time to call a couple of companies tomorrow to get quotes. We need to do it soon as the deer will be out and about and eating our seedlings before you know it!
I created PDF’s of the first 10 years of this blog and emailed them to my wife and Katie. Now, if something happens to this blog (heaven forbid), at least we have backups of the contents.
