Day #5612 – (Sun., May 18, 2025) – Forgot Wallet
Katie wanted to go for a drive today so I took her out for Daddy/Daughter Chat #29. They totally rebuilt the McDonalds in Courtenay, with a play area for the kids and it says a “McCafe” (which I’m suspect of). We were at the drive thru when I realized I didn’t have my wallet, so we went back home, got the wallet (off my desk I might add), and went back to the McDonald’s drive thru to order. Katie had the “2 Cheeseburger EVM” (of course) while I had a black coffee with a new item “Oat Creamer”… I’ve been wondering if McDonalds would ever offer anything but cream, and today is the day!
We then drove around Comox and home. Katie really wanted to have some Boba Tea, but “Poke Page” and “Boba Island” were closed. So, we went to Starbucks (see photo to the right).
Bobby mowed the driveway to the barn this afternoon.
The news just broke that Joe Biden has cancer.
Jensen from NVDA gave a big talk this evening about the future of NVDA and it looks very bright!
