In Courtenay they installed the gate to the front of our property this morning! Nice to get that done!
Monday was also the last day for the family in Vilnius. They had to leave the apartment by 11 am, so the morning was spent packing, cleaning and taking a few loads of garbage/recycling to containers behind the Georgian Restaurant.

They then took an Uber to the airport and left the suitcases in the storage. Next up was another Uber to grandma’s apartment to say goodbye (see photo to the right). They stayed there for 3 hours until it was time to go to the airport for the trip to London. Grandma’s sister was coming back from the beach so she stopped by to say goodbye. Her daughter, my wife’s cousin Ruta, came to pick her up, and ended up taking my wife and kids to the airport
Just an hour before the ride a horrible storm came – rain, hail, wind- very scary! The family got a bit wet getting to the car, but the drop off place at the airport was fully covered, so it was great from there on. The flight to London kept getting delayed and ended up leaving an hour late. My wife’s brother Tomas and his daughter Sofia came right after her swim lesson and took us home. Bobby and Sofia hit it off almost immediately 🙂 After dinner, at around 9 pm, Tomas took my wife and Katie to see London at night. When they arrived home Bobby was already asleep.
