The family is feeling better today. Katie even had enough energy to clean up her room and did some tennis. Later in the day she went for a jog while Bobby rode his bike and my wife walked.
Bobby went to Connor’s birthday party from 12 noon to 3 pm this afternoon. They had a water balloon fight, and some hot dogs and cake to eat.
Connor is Dominic’s brother, and Dominic is the boy down the road who is in the same grade as Bobby. It’s nice that Bobby has so many friends within walking distance of our house. We gave Connor a “Minecraft Pig Lego Set” for his birthday (see photo to the right), and his mother Kendra texted my wife and said that Connor had a blast building it!
The principal at Katie’s high school Vanier retired last year and we found out who the new principal is. Her name is Karma Taiji and she wrote a thesis on the requirements for a climate of inclusion for LGBTQ students in the school system.
