The power went out at 8 am this morning, which made getting ready for school tricky! Both kids did go to school though, which is great. Bobby called up at 1:30 pm complaining that his ear hurt so my wife went to get him. He fell asleep in the afternoon after finishing his lunch, but felt better in the evening. He still hasn’t recovered from what he had on Monday.
Katie spent a lot of time today working on her math homework (see photo to the left).
Katie has moved her art supplies down to the bedroom on the main floor where the laser printer resides. It’s really looking like an office now!
The power outage this morning messed up our automatic gate. We contacted Scott at Pentech, the guy who installed it for us, and told him what the deal was. Apparently if you can wait, he will service it for free the next time he is in town. If he has to make a specific trip for it he will charge you. We opted to wait… Let’s hope that the deer don’t destroy everything on our property in the meantime…
