Since it was raining today my wife drove Bobby to school and then home in the afternoon.
Whatever they put in this COVID shot it has sure wiped me out… Not only have I had a sore arm, I have a hard time waking up!
It was an insanely long and busy day for Katie. For her first class of the day she had a physics test (i.e.: energy laws unit test). She also had a test in her second class, math (i.e.: test on roots and radicals). For lunch was interact club. They picked up pumpkins for carving but they won’t be selling them since this will take place on Tuesday, when her viola class is. Katie decided to strike one more thing off her list, baking brownies to sell, to make it a bit easier. Tomorrow Katie will be going to Emma’s house to carve the pumpkins.
Since Katie didn’t have time for lunch today she ate during English class. For her last class of the day she had French, and got 100% on her vocabulary test.
After school Katie had “Model UN”. My wife and Bobby picked her up after school and they went to Costco to get their flu shots (see photo to the left). Apparently the clinic where you get the shots has a sticky note on the door and is not too impressive. After getting shots they got groceries and some Halloween candy. While the kids waited to check out my wife picked up some hot dogs and ice cream for dinner.
It was raining like crazy by the time they left Costco so my wife went to the car alone, loaded it up, and picked the kids up by the door. They then got Costco gas and drove home.
Later this evening Bobby took a bath and Katie went on a swing (in the rain). These are probably their two most favorite activities!
