Local’s Pizza for lunch today at Huband! Yippee! Bobby said that he had two slices and apparently you are allowed to have more if you want.
Katie and I went on a grocery run to the Real Canadian Superstore this evening for supplies (see photo to the right). Let’s call this Daddy/Daughter Day #163! My wife prepared a list. The usual milk, eggs, and cheese of course. We also picked up some cocoa and finally found where they put the strawberry syrup! Bobby enjoyed some on his ice cream when he got out of the tub this evening!
Bobby went over to Isaac’s after school today. They played a lot of video games and were planning on playing an online hockey game when his mother came to pick him up.
This evening the “adults” Valentine & Empress roosted on the top pole. The “kids” roosted on the pole below that. My wife bought some ceramic eggs on Amazon that we will put into the nesting area to tell Empress where to lay when the time comes. My wife also bought a “dirt bath” for them. Oh, that reminds me, I need to fill in the hole at the front of the barn that the hens made a while back…it’s a tripping hazard!
If the weather holds up Bobby and I plan to do a bit of fishing this weekend. Trout on Maple Lake…better hide!
