Bobby spent quite a bit of time today playing with his new 3D printer! He spent a lot of time searching databases online for 3d models, imported the results to his laptop, then to a flash drive, and finally to the 3d printer to produce a result. You can see the 3d octopus he made in the photo to the right. The head of the octopus is actually “The Rock” (the wrestler)! It’s “purplish” due to the “Amolen Silk PLA 3D Printer Filament, Silk Dual Color Red Black”.
My wife is going to be losing her job in a little over a month due the the fact we have moved to Canada. Up till now, she has been using her work computer and has leant her personal laptop to Bobby for his gaming. With only one laptop to share between them in a little over a month, it’s time to get Bobby a computer. We think it would be better for him to have a desktop as he doesn’t need the mobility, and it will provide more “grunt” for the video games he loves to play. Katie and I went for a drive tonight. She is upset with Starbucks over some political issue they have taken, and wanted to eat healthy, so Timmy’s is out… She said that she was fine with Wendy’s, so off to the other side of the bridge we went to get a combo meal at Wendy’s. I prefer Tim Horton’s coffee to Wendy’s, so I went there for a small black coffee as well.
