Both kids went to school today! Yippee for small miracles! Having said that, Katie had an orthodontist appointment this morning and went to school after lunch. Her braces are coming off on October 21st!
I went to pick Bobby up at Huband this afternoon but he took the bus to Bryston’s house. Bryston is one of the first people Bobby met here in Courtenay. Bryston and his sister Autumn came over for the playdate the summer before the kids started school here. He sits in the back row with him in class this year. Bobby stayed for dinner and I picked him up at 6 pm.
After picking Bobby up I drove him home and picked up Katie and drove her over to see Amy, her new therapist. Katie wanted me to stay so I did. Amy thinks that she would benefit from ADHD medication so Katie is over the moon about that possibility. She asked her to fill out a form (see photo to the right).
My wife talked to the finance lady at Island Health and she said that Island Health has very good family insurance. The amount that we pay for the private insurance now is insane. These savings will cover the AirB&B expenses when my wife is staying in Duncan for her new job, but we need to make sure that all is good before we cancel our current insurance.
