Today is the second week of spring break for the kids! They will be back to school next monday.
One of our hens, Eclipse, passed away in the night. I buried her out back, near the old barn. I put a little wooden stake in the ground as we are having to bury so many hens and roosters I need to know where they are!

Kristina went skiing on Mount Washington this afternoon and then home to Victoria afterward.
Bobby and Katie enjoyed a little bit of trampoline time this afternoon (see photo to the left). Other than that Bobby spent a lot of time playing online with Ethan, his friend from Chapel Hill.
I went out for errands this afternoon and picked up some “grower” hen food on the way home from Shar-Kare. No sign of the cats there…they must have found a new place to sleep and relax and enjoy life.
This evening I took Katie out driving again. I drove her to Crowne Isle after we picked up a Starbucks and she drove there for a while. She then ventured out to “Back Road”, and they various neighborhoods, then to Ryan Road. She even drove the car home in the dark tonight. She’s got “the bug” and wants to go out again almost as soon as she gets home.
Katie and I finished watching the documentary “Melania”. We finished it now…that’s the only comment I will make…
