Day #5933 – (Sat., Apr. 4, 2026) – Neck Pillow

Kristina went skiing later this morning and was back at the house by early afternoon. My wife and her were watching the movies Dune & Dune2.

My wife let the chickens out to roam around this afternoon (see photo to the right).

Later this afternoon Katie and I drove to Waypoint to sign her up for insurance on the Camry. After that we returned some of my wife’s packages:

  • Postal return at Home Hardware
  • UPS return at the laundromat (closed for the Easter weekend)
  • Amazon returns at Staples

After that I drove to Crown Isle so Katie could take over with the driving. We spent some time in Crown Isle, then to the area around Griffith Pub, then down to Guthrie Road and Anderton. She drove home via Huband Road, the section of the road that is near the ferry to Powell River.

During the drive I had a pillow that I put behind my neck to help with my neck pain. Next time I think I will take one of those pillows that people use when they are flying in an airplane, custom fit around the neck so that it doesn’t fall off, or obstruct the driver’s view.

This evening the family had Chinese food via takeout and the Wenjie Chinese Restaurant.
