Today is Victoria Day here in Canada! My wife sent us the agenda for the Victoria Day parade in Victoria but both Katie and I didn’t feel like going. We just chilled…
Check out time at the Air B&B was 11 am, so Katie cleaned up the place and shortly after 10 am we were off!
We didn’t stop for breakfast in Victoria, but drove all the way to Tim Hortons in Cowichan before having our first meal of the day. Incidentally, this Tim Hortons is right next to the Island Health building where my wife works. We picked up our order and then went to the Island Health parking lot to eat it. Along with breakfast sandwiches Katie got a Boston Cream donut while I had a vanilla sprinkled. It was surprising in the fact that Katie says the vanilla sprinkled donut her favorite. I guess she wanted a change.
We kept on driving, not too fast, just relaxing and taking our time. We eventually arrived home and were both quite tired. Dad took a nap and Katie went to her room to relax and do a bit of homework.
This evening Bobby showed me the “Snakes & Ladder” game that he made for school. Kids are making various types of games and they will present them on Thursday.
My wife’s health insurance will cover some of Katie’s assessment. We each get $500 per year, so with Katie’s visits to Amy here allotment for this year has already been allocated.
