I took both Bobby and Katie to school today, and picked them up after school when it was over. As I was driving Bobby home Isaac tried to race us. He beat us to the end of the road that leads up to Huband school, but I didn’t see him till after we made the turn onto Gibson and he was in our rear view mirror, so I guess we ultimately beat him? Bobby rolled the windows down to say hello. He said that he wants to get together with Isaac again but it’s a bit harder since they are not in the same class this year.
Katie is over the moon today as “Planet Zoo 2” came out today. She said that five of her content creators had already created videos on it. I said that she should load it onto Bobby’s computer to see if it will run it, but she just wants to load it onto her laptop and pat Batman and enjoy it for now, even though she might not be able to play with all the “bells & whistles”.
My wife left early to go to Duncan today so that she would arrive before sundown. I need to make Bobby a sandwich tomorrow for school and my wife left instructions (see photo to the right).
On the drive home from Vanier I asked Katie what she wanted for dinner and she was not sure. We usually have pizza when mom is out of town, but Katie told me that she didn’t feel like pizza, and that she once had a slice of pizza here (she doesn’t remember what the location was) that grossed her out and she’s been hesitant to have it since then. It’s the cheese she says.
When we got home I asked Bobby what he wanted and he was not sure either. My wife went grocery shopping yesterday so there is plenty of food in the house, so I will let them fend for themselves tonight. They know where I am if they want me to cook for them or go get them something.
