Day #971 (Fri., Aug. 31, 2012) – Katie The Sharer
Katie is starting to play with our camera and even takes the “odd” picture now and then. Most of them really are “odd” but take a look at the photo to the right. Katie took this picture…kind of intriguing. Maybe she will be a photographer one day?
Gwen took Katie to the park and the museum today. Gwen was amazed at how social Katie is…she just comes up to kids and says hello. She is also very gently with the babies.
This evening when I came home from work my wife and Katie were at Helen’s place. I was so tired that I left them there and came home to sleep and they eventually wandered back. While at Helen’s Katie saw some live lobsters (guess where they are going?) and Katie and Helen laid down in the same bed and read stories. Not sure what it is about Katie and beds?
They have a little plastic car that is large enough for you to get in and peddle about. When Katie was sitting in it my wife asked her if she would let Helen take over. Katie said “Sure” and got out of the car and let Helen get in. It is nice to see that Katie has the concept of sharing.
Katie was all over me this evening. She wanted daddy’s attention so much…I guess because she didn’t get to spend time with me last night. My wife and her would dance around the room and play the piano and Katie would be looking at me all the time. Is daddy watching me?
