Day #1083 (Fri., Dec. 21, 2012) – A Brownie Christmas Tree
After I went to bed last night my wife sent me the following email:

It’s 12:06 am and I already had to shut Katie’s light off at least 10 times. I am crashing and that child is still u and running. I think I can hear her turning the light on AGAIN..

Becka took Katie to visit her brother’s farm today. Katie saw four chickens and three pigs and told me all about it when I got home from work.
Day #4 of the Days of Christmas this evening. Katie opened up the present and low and behold, yet another Dollar Store bag of snakes. Katie can’t get enough of these little creatures.
My wife made a Brownie Christmas Tree this evening (see photo to the right). She had a Christmas Tree mold that she has been itching to use, and the healthy whey brownie mix fit the bill. We didn’t have any gumdrops but they would have made perfect decorations.
Katie has figured out how to get past the safety latches that we have put on the drawers in the kitchen, etc. As a result we are finding spoons and measuring cups and “whatever” all over the living room. Looks like we are going to need another solution.
