Day #1108 (Tue., Jan. 15, 2013) – Snaking The Sink
I stopped off at Lowe’s on the way home from work today and got a “snake” for the bathroom sink. Since Katie likes to play with her toys in the sink we need to have it drain properly less she create a mess. There was a little plastic “snake-like” contraption that actually catches the hair and brings it out of the sink. A little snaking and we are good to go.
Katie loves her television, as you can see in the photo to the right.
Katie and I wrestled quite a bit on the master bed this evening. She is such an aggressive and active child and today I had the idea that I would try and tucker her out. After a bit of wrestling it was time to watch a bit of “Caillou” to calm down.
I went to bed early and my wife stayed up with Katie. She told me that Katie slept for 20-30 minutes and then woke up all rested and ready to explore. Just before the midnight she found her in bed with different pants on. Apparently she got into a box full of clothes in the closet and found these pants and put them on. Her explanation was: “I am sorry mom, my diaper was wet and I had to take it off”. Then she asked for three more minutes’ of television. My wife put her on the La-z-boy (but no TV) and then went to the kitchen for a few minutes. Katie was singing Jingle Bells loud and happily… She came back and put her to bed again. Surprisingly, there was no problem with that!
