My wife is taking this week off work so she is effectively babysitting Katie all week. They made Play Doh today.
When I was driving home from work this evening I saw my wife and Katie on the street so I stopped and picked them up. We drove into the driveway and my wife liked the idea of going out to eat so we turned the car around and off we went…
We were thinking of getting a gyro but the lure of the cheap meal at Subway won out. We split a 12″ sub and had water, so it was about $7.49 to feed all three of us (even though Katie barely eats anything). We then went to the nearby hardware store so Katie can look at the plush birds that sing when you push their tummy. Next stop was YoPop for some frozen yogurt.
On the way home we went to the elementary school so Katie could run around and play a bit. There was an old soccer ball there and Katie and I kicked it around for a bit. She didn’t want to leave and I told her that because she was not listening to mommy and daddy she would not get a present tonight. I told her that if she behaves tomorrow, and mommy tells me that she was a good girl, I would give her a present tomorrow when I got home from work.
