Day #1385 (Sat., Oct. 19, 2013) – DD#4 Picking Out Pumpkins
Today is another Daddy/Daughter Day (DD#4). Our friend from Charlotte is coming to see us on Monday so my wife wanted to stay home and clean up the place.
First stop was to the pumpkin patch near where our hairdresser works. Katie and I bought two nice pumpkins for $8.
The next stop was to Chick-Fil-A. I had a Cobb Salad while Katie played in their amusement area. She didn’t have any chicken, but did eat all of my tomatoes (I had to wipe them off with a napkin as their was some dressing on them and she refused to eat them otherwise).
Katie wanted to stop off at the “Spirit Halloween” store on the way home. She kept making reference to showing me the lady who said “Ah Ah” and was taken away to jail by the police. When we got to the store she took me to see it…a horror setup…
This evening Katie wanted to carve a vampire out of one of the pumpkins (see photo to the right). She also started to carve a bit of the table away with one of the tools but we won’t go into that…
