Day #1404 (Thu., Nov. 7, 2013) – Into The Flour
I can’t remember exactly what I said to Katie this morning but Katie took it that I was teasing her. I apologized and told her that I would not tease her again. She effectively said “Don’t do that…I like to be teased…sometimes”.
As I was heading out the door this morning there were Q-Tips all over the dining room floor. Hurricane Katie struck again.
Nikki is absolutely amazing. She not only does a good job tending to Katie, she helps out a lot around the house as well. I came home this evening to sparkling clean hardwood floors…somehow Nikki found time to clean them today.
As my wife was making pumpkin scones this evening Katie decided that she would get into the flour (see photo to the right). It went all over the place…the floor…her face. When asked why she made such a mess she said “Because it is so soft”. When she was done my wife decided it was time for her to take a bath. My wife said that she would get back at her and wash her hair…this was her punishment for making such a mess.
