Day #129 (Wed., May 12, 2010) – Caress Her Cheek
3:51am – What messed up schedules we have. Everyone is up now. Mom, dad and “thumper” in the nursery makes three. My wife was telling me that she needs to take a video of her thumping her legs…nobody will believe it.
Last night as my wife was putting little Katie to sleep she tried to burp her and put her in the crib. All of a sudden little Katie started to caress my wife’s cheek with her hand. I guess it was some sweet. In all honesty, she did grab my wife’s mouth with her other hand, which was not so sweet.
Little Katie has been a fussy little baby all day today. I got this email from my wife while I was at work:

I am having quite a day… Katie is screaming and screaming more and screaming more again… She slept just twice about 40 minutes each time, so that might be the reason. Also, she is drooling a lot – maybe teething again… A cold teether helped a little bit. Now she is in the swing. I adjusted her car seat to another setting while she was watching me doing that. She was quite happy there for a while, but now started fussing… I hope she’ll eat and sleep… That’s life I guess… 🙂

The photo to the left shows a bowling set that my wife and I bought for little Katie on the weekend. Each of the pins makes a jingle sound when you shake them. You just set up the pins and knock them down with the ball. I demonstrated the set for little Katie this evening…from her reaction I think she’s a bit young for it just yet.
