Day #1784 (Sat., Nov. 22, 2014) – Katie Can Add
Katie and my wife were making scrambled eggs. My wife said that we already have 3 eggs but need two more for daddy, so how many eggs we will have. Katie thought for a minute and answered: ‘five’.
Katie’s artistic ability seems to be evolving day by day. Take a look at the house she drew in the photo to the left. It has a door and windows and even what looks like a welcome mat and tree outside.
Katie is watching the Christmas parade, suddenly gets up and hides behind the chair. I asked her what was up and she answered: “they are waving to me and I am not used to people that I don’t know waving to me unless they are my friends”. 15 minutes or so later a question comes: “do they see me or do I see them, but they don’t see me”. I told Katie that there are people on the street watching the parade and the parade participants are actually waving at them.
