Day #1878 (Tue., Feb. 24, 2015) – Building A Snowman
There was a dusting of snow on the ground this morning so we decided that we would not take Katie to preschool. Good decision…although they had school they cancelled it as soon as the kids arrived. The office opened and closed early today so I worked from home.
Around noon I took Katie out to play in the snow. She had about four slides down the hill with her new sled. We then built a snowman (equipped with a carrot nose, acorns for eyes, and a leaf mouth). Katie named “her” Sophia. Next up was “moving the lawn” as Katie called it…basically shoveling the snow off our driveway. I made a huge pile of snow for her to jump in. When we went inside I made her a nice glass of “sugar snow” which was basically snow with some sugar and maple syrup drizzled on top.
My wife got a cleanser four our LazyBoy. It has sure taken a beating over the years with all the various foods that have been spilled on it. Time for it to take a bath!
