Day #1879 (Wed., Feb. 25, 2015) – 2nd Baby Shower
Yesterday we were snowed in and there is more snow in the forecast for tonight, so today is a bit of a “reprieve” day. Both my wife and I were able to go to work but Katie’s school was cancelled so Nikki came to take care of Katie at our house. We worried that she might not be able to make it to our house but her Toyota 4-wheel drive does wonders in weather like this.
Nikki took Katie to the dentist later in the day. She was a good girl and didn’t really cry, but she has 5 cavities…looks like we are going to have to do a lot more brushing in the future.
My wife had a better day at work than I did. Her coworker picked her up at our house and drove her home. They had a baby shower for her. She brought a bunch of blue balloons home with her (see photo to the right).
A lot more snow is forecast for this evening so I left work early. I was thinking we might need some supplies but we have enough goat’s milk and food to get us by. I didn’t really want to have to wait in those huge checkout lines at any rate.
