It’s 8:45am and daddy is up. It’s nice to be able to sleep in from time-to-time. My wife and child are gone, so I’m assuming that they are out for a stroll.
8:58am – Everyone is home. Little Katie enjoyed her stroll around the lake.
I had to do a lot of work in the garage this afternoon. Little Katie came down to supervise. She put both her hands out to have me hold her. First time she ever did that. I was full of sweat so I had to decline.
Little Katie doesn’t like to wear socks and seems to spend a lot of time trying to “kick them off”. After a drive I will often find a loose sock near the baby seat. The photo to the right shows an assortment of such socks…
Little Katie was a bit fussy this afternoon so we decided to take a drive in the car. The swaying motion of the baby seat in the car always seems to calm her down.
The afternoon my wife organized little Katie’s clothes yet again. She put away everything up to 9 months, so she wears clothes for 12-18 month olds now. Growing like a weed.
8:37pm – I just played a song for little Katie on the guitar. I put the guitar close to her when I was done so she could touch it…but she refused. That’s interesting as she will touch and maul and try to eat anything else that comes her way. Perhaps the guitar is just too big for her…a real challenge to eat.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
