8:55am – The boss of the house is up. How do I know she is the boss? I just changed a #2 diaper for her…you must be the boss to get that level of service.
9:54am – Mommy is up. Breakfast for little Katie!
We had another Skype session with my mother. Little Katie was extremely active in the Jumperoo. My mother was surprised at all the screams and sounds she could make. Our little girl is growing up.
My wife and I decided that we would take today off from work and studies. We drove out to a farm nearby where they have “Belted Goats” (see photo to the left) and “Belted Cows”. The cows were a bit too far away for little Katie to get a focus on, but she was fascinated with the “Belted Goats”. She followed them around the pen with her eyes.
We had a nice meal at a nearby seafood restaurant (the same one we took little Katie to when she was 2 weeks old). Wonder how much longer they will be offering seafood from the New Orleans area? Little Katie behaved herself famously…towards the end of our meal she started to rub her eyes (time to sleep). The waitress was a young girl who was captivated with little Katie. She said that she was the cutest baby she has ever seen. She was so captivated that her other customers took the backburner. She said that she wants to have one of her own one day. She was only 19…I hope she gets her education first.
On a more serious note, there was a murder at the Target we usually pick up our baby diapers at. Around 11:30am this morning a guy shot his former girlfriend who was a cashier.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY

1) Little Katie loved our trip to see the “Belted Goats” and “Belted Cows”.
