I went to Trader Joe’s this morning for supplies. We were low on almost everything and with two kids you need to take any opportunity that presents itself to get food.
When I got back home my wife mentioned that there was a puppet show at KidZoo (see photo to the left). She also mentioned that both she and Katie needed a haircut so I tended to little Bobby and off they went. Miss Barbara wants us to get some swim rings for Katie so they picked up some of those as well.
Little Bobby woke up soon after they left. He was up from 1:30pm to 4:30pm…not the typical 30 minutes up, give him a bottle, and back to bed. We had quite the little bonding session with me trying to feed him and all the assortment of face games, singing, rattles and “whatever” in between. He fell asleep in the pink bouncy seat and I put on a note on the door to be quiet as little Bobby just fell asleep. I then crashed on the couch and they arrived home around 5:10pm.
I learned that after they had their haircut they went to McDonald’s for an ice cream cone. I told my wife that she should go and have a nice long day out with Katie…glad she was able to take advantage of it.
It was then my turn to go to bed for a nap. When I awoke there was a commotion. Apparently Katie had cut one side of her hair as she didn’t like her haircut. My wife had to trim it out…so she effectively has bangs now.
