Day #2090 (Thu., Sept. 24, 2015) – “Eat Lunch With Your Child”
As far as little Bobby is concerned, one bottle is not enough (see photo to the right).
On the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie is still having problems with what comes after 29, 39, and 49. We decided that we would count together. She did much better when we counted up to 50 together.
Today they had a special “eat lunch with your child” day at Glenwood. I was hoping to be able to attend but they gave me some extra work at the last minute and I had to work through lunch. Fortunately my wife got to attend. She told me that not many parents showed up. That is surprising given the fact that a lot of parents don’t work. I guess both Katie and her ate the food at the cafeteria. It revolved around “Mac & Cheese” and various side dishes. Herron came up to say hi to my wife.
Katie is all excited about being able to read her little books that Nikki gave her. In putting her to bed this evening my wife said that she was waiting in her bedroom in order to demonstrate her reading ability on two of these books. Of course we praised her lavishly when she finished.
