This is the last day to call “Little Bobby” … “Little”. As per the tradition I started with Katie, once my child turns one year old they will lose the “little” adjective. As of tomorrow “Little Bobby” will be “Bobby”.
On the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie and I got talking about conservation and how this was needed to that areas where animals live don’t go away. She mentioned that perhaps she should be a conservationist when she grows up. Right up her alley…Conservationist…Vet…Zoo Keeper…
I went to Ollie’s in Chapel Hill at lunchtime today. This is the store that has a lot of clearance items from when other stores go out of business. There were a number of toys that games that I know Katie and little Bobby would love. On the way home I stopped off at Carpenter Home Supply and got six jars of honey. One of them slipped out of my hands in the driveway so only five jars actually made it home.
The lever on the toilet in our bathroom broke so I had to make an emergency run to Lowe’s this evening. The party is only two days away and we have to have this working. I’m getting used to replacing these sorts of things so it was up in no time (see photo to the left).
My wife assembled the little red wagon that we are going to give to little Bobby for his birthday tomorrow. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but the kids will be able to enjoy it for years to come.
