Day #2298 (Tue., Apr. 19, 2016) – Copperhead In The Driveway
There was a big copperhead snake at the end of our driveway this morning. The whole family went out to see it and as I exited the door my wife asked me to bring a shovel. It didn’t move so it was obviously dead…I’m not about to go tormenting a live copperhead with a shovel. I basically scooted it over to the side of the driveway. Drama over. It looked like there was some damage to the head so perhaps a car hit it.
Daddy seems to have re-injured his knee today. I was just walking down the hallway at work and turned the corner and that was it. Nothing fancy or dramatic. At any rate I was hobbling around most of the afternoon and wasn’t much help around the house this evening.
Bobby’s latest “favorite toy” seems to be a plate and whatever utensil is hanging around after we are done eating our dinner in the living room. This evening he got a hold of a Correlle dinner plate and spoon and boy oh boy what a racket.
