Day #2393 (Sat., July 23, 2016) – Mattie’s Birthday Party
My wife took Katie to Mattie’s birthday party this afternoon (see photo to the left). It was held at the Hillsborough skating rink and they had a party with gifts before the actual skating. I guess that Katie was upset that my wife did not go onto the ice with her. My wife cannot skate and Katie was saying that she should have gotten me to teach her beforehand. Others offered to push her along the ice and I guess one lady did but it was too fast. With my knee problems will I ever be able to be with her on the ice again? Or with Bobby? That’s the question at this stage…
So I stayed home and tended to Bobby. He has a real fancy for the car these days so we spent a bit of time driving back and forth in the driveway. He likes it so much in fact that as soon as he gets out the front door he points to the car and says “Ish”…basically saying that he wants a drive in this.
