Day #2434 (Fri., Sept. 2, 2016) – Bobby Goes Down The “Big Kid” Slide
When I got up this morning both Katie and Bobby were already up with my wife. I took Bobby out for a drive in the car to get him out of my wife’s hair while she got Katie ready for school. I drove him back and forth in the driveway but it was too early in the morning for him to go through his regular ritual of honking the horn. We don’t want to wake the neighbors.
I notice that the rear window on the passenger side of the car does not work. Not sure what’s up with that but I’ve had a couple of motors break on the automatic windows of my cars so I suspect that. I don’t think I need this enough to pay $500 for a motor so I’ll just let it be for now… (I was to later find out that it is the switch on my door…not the motor).
We got an email this morning that Dr. Ryan, the principal at Katie’s school, is moving on to be Executive Director for Curriculum and Instruction for CHCCS. Chris Liles will be the Glenwood Interim Principal.
Arnesa took Bobby to the park again today (see photo to the right). He’s very daring…he even went down the big kid slide.
I’ve been meaning to go to one of those Home Depot or Lowe’s “Kids Days” where you assemble some sort of a toy or something with your child. I guess tomorrow is the day…
