Day #2475 (Thu., Oct. 13, 2016) – The “Toy” Plunger
On the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie was in a “visioning” mode. Not sure what this was all about but she asked me to picture “mommy teaching her to ride a bike”.
My wife bought some Halloween pillows on Amazon (see photo to the right) to make the place more “festive”.
Katie had dance class after school today. She told me that they play “Soup Pot”…where the teacher goes around to each of the students and ask them what they want to add to the pot. Katie said that she always picks “pumpkin”. The kids then go through the motions of getting a pumpkin and adding it to the soup pot and then it is off to the next kid to pick something.
We found out that Kirsten, the person we were planning on hiring to nanny Bobby, will need to be admitted into UNC Hospital for 2-3 weeks.
Bobby got the plunger out of the bathroom this evening and started to cart it all around the house. Disgusting…but he loves anything with a stick on the end.
