Day #2601 (Thu., Feb. 16, 2017) – Daddy’s Birthday
It’s daddy’s birthday today. My wife got me the “Nerdy Nummies” cookbook by Rosanna Pansino. It has a lot of good recipes in it, but not the Spiderman oreo pops or any other Super Hero ones. Katie gave me a birthday card as well.
Another dance class for Katie. She’s practicing for the big “Mary Poppins” event they will be having in June.
Jack and Susan are taking Eleri and Helen to the Community Center playground tomorrow for a play date. We’re going to find something else for Katie to do to avoid all the potential drama.
My wife’s back is getting better but still not 100%. She made him some buckwheat cereal but he seemed to gag on it. He did however down a jar of prunes and two jars of cinnamon oatmeal.
I was really tired this evening so when my wife took Bobby to the bathtub I went to the bedroom to rest my eyes. I told my wife to wake me up when she needed me but she let me sleep through the night. She told me in the morning that she was having problems putting Bobby to bed so she gave him the Captain America figure that came the other day (see photo to the right). She had no problem then…he readily went to his crib so he could sleep with Captain America.
