Day #2689 (Mon., May 15, 2017) – Katie Is Changing…
The photo to the right shows the robot that I gave Bobby yesterday. This one has one blinking eye in the middle of its forehead.
Katie had her piano class today as my wife is taking her to the doctor on Wednesday.
My wife said that Katie mentioned she feels another Daddy/Daughter day coming on. We’re not sure what’s up with Katie. She doesn’t seem as secure and happy as she used to be. She tends to be more clingy. Is she jealous of Bobby? Is school or the kids at school behind the change? My wife was reading that kids change when they turn 7…so is this it?
We still have our paper mache figurines sitting out on the patio. They are all dry now and only need to be painted. Katie made a “fat cat” and I made a “little dog”.
Bobby wanted to try the salad I was eating this evening. He loved the bacon and the chicken with mayo but threw the lettuce on the floor. Well, two out of three ain’t bad. It’s hard to get through any meals these days without Bobby throwing something on the floor.
My wife mentioned that Susan is getting rid of their sandbox. We are not sure if we should take it or not. It’s big and bulky and will need some repairs and doesn’t have a cover.
