Day #2693 (Fri., May 19, 2017) – “The Better Angels Of Our Nature” Book
On the drive to Glenwood Katie asked me if there were a lot of wars when I was a child. I’m not sure what brought up this question…we were not talking about anything related. It must be something that is on her mind as of late. I took the opportunity to mention that Bill Gates said “The Better Angels of Our Nature” book, which he says is one of the best books he has ever read, shows how violence is actually decreasing as time goes on.
The photo to the left shows the state of the new firehouse being built near Katie’s school. Moving right along…
I showed Katie some “Ghost Buster” cartoon episodes on NetFlix this evening. When you think of it, it’s pretty much like the Scooby-Doo episodes that she used to watch when she was three years old.
I put the two 2×4’s length-wise this evening. Bobby and Katie enjoyed walking the entire length of it.
Bobby was watching some Barney on Netflix this evening.
